Cork Chardonnay £300.00 £25.00 £22.50
We've tasted so much average white burgundy from Puligny, Chassagne and Meursault and it's not until we stumbled across David Moret that we really smiled. This is Puligny at it's absolute best at this price point. Complex, taught and intense – a wine made in a well maintained and loved vineyard rather than a winery

Château Liversan, AOC Haut Médoc, IMPERIAL (6 bottles),
2000, Haut Medoc, France, 13%
Cork Cab Sauvignon, Merlot £- £200.00 £180.00
Seriously tasty claret in a seriously silly bottle. These sized bottles bend dining room tables and you'll need a proper gathering (or a serious problem) to get through it in a sitting but the juice inside this monster is fabulous (the vineyard is just under 3 kilometres from Lafite and Mouton). Mature, ripe, cedary and spicy with plenty of fruit and life left in the wine. Delicious drinking now.

Château Patache d’Aux, AOC Médoc, IMPERIAL (6 bottles),
2000, Medoc, France, 13%
Cork Cab Sauvignon, Merlot £- £200.00 £180.00
Another seriously tasty claret in a seriously silly bottle. These sized bottles bend dining room tables and you'll need a proper gathering (or a serious problem) to get through it in a sitting but this is grown up Bordeaux from a great vintage. Patache d'Aux have been making consistently solid, traditional claret for many years and it's in vintages such as this that you find such great value from Chateaux such as this.

Vieux Château Gaubert, AOC Graves, IMPERIAL (6 bottles),
2005, Graves, France, 13%
Cork £- £210.67 £189.60
Another seriously tasty claret in a seriously silly bottle. These sized bottles bend dining room tables and you'll need a proper gathering (or a serious problem) to get through it in a sitting but this is really tasty claret indeed. From low yielding, old vines that produces wines that thorougly deserve Dominique Haverlan’s clever use of new oak. The 2005 is a cracking, well rounded wine that will live longer and be enjoyed from now too.

These sized bottles bend dining room tables and you'll need a proper gathering (or a serious problem) to get through it in a sitting but the juice inside this monster is fabulous (the vineyard is just under 3 kilometres from Lafite and Mouton). Maturing now however it's less developed than the 75cl bottles, we'd recommend this as a keeper.
