Tasting Note

The pièce de résistance in the range from Château de Durette, this Cru Beaujolais is world-class. Hand harvested and terroir driven, with oodles of raspberries, strawberries and black cherries. A wonderful texture and weight, with sweet tannins provides so much wine for the price. (Nick)

The Producer

Château de Durette

Winemaker Marc Theissen, another native of Liège, joined the team in 2009 and has taken their winemaking from strength. Over the past few years since he has been there, Château de Durette's wines have won a host of awards and are continuing to try new viticulture and viniculture techniques.
