Tasting Note

One of the must-try wines on this list. Everyone has fallen in love here in the Vintner office. Rich and ripe on the nose, there are floral notes and honeyed stone fruits bursting out the glass. The palate is creamy with lots of body but the perfectly balance acidity lifts the wine and makes this very moreish.

Delivery and Returns

We offer a delivery service to most UK mainland addresses using either our own drivers or a courier.  We can deliver beyond the UK mainland but will need to quote you a price for this via email or phone. 

Our standard delivery charge is £10 inc. VAT for orders of under £100 to a single address in most parts of the UK mainland.  Delivery is free for orders of £100 or more to one address in most parts of the UK mainland.

We will deliver your wine within 5 working days of receipt of your order although many of our deliveries are done within 3 days.  If you have a deadline by which you need the wine, please let us know in the delivery instructions when you check out.

We require the goods to be signed for upon delivery unless you provide us with alternative delivery instructions which you can opt for when placing your order online.

We are confident that you will love our carefully chosen wines, but if you don't, or if your wine is faulty (e.g. corked), we will credit you without question. Please notify us within 30 days of receipt of your order and we’ll also credit you for the bottle you tried originally.

The Producer

Keermont Estate

Alex Starey is in charge of the vineyards and of making the estate’s wines. Employed at the start of the redevelopment of the farm in 2005. Alex’s philosophy in the vineyards tends towards the natural rather than the scientific. The aim to create wines that reflect the beautiful place from which they come and the particular year’s vintage conditions. For this reason, they try to use less chemical fertilizers, fewer pesticides and to irrigate as little as possible. In the winery Alex’s aim is to guide the wines through fermentation and maturation as gently and naturally as possible so he can capture the true essence of the fruit that they put so much effort into growing.
