The Producer

Domaine Charles Audoin

The domaine is named after Cyril's father Charles. Cyril first started helping his father out at the tender age or 12 and is now the winemaker for the domaine. He places a huge emphasis on traditional techniques to treat the soil by ploughing and earthing-up. His approach to vinification aims to get the healthiest fruits a preserve their freshness throughout the different stages of the process. Cyril credits his great-grandmother, Marie, for the survival of the domaine since she kept it going following the untimely death of his great-grandfather in World War 1.
